Tracing 814 in triode mode
As found years ago during the first traces, the 814 is a sublime companion and remarkably linear. I traced the curves today with the uTracer with great results. From my load lines I could confirm that 10W can be obtained at half distortion compared to the 4-65a.

Lenco arm board
This is a great new arm board made by Carl to fit my Lenco plinth. I’m planning to add a second plater so needed to raise the tonearm and therefore a new board was required. Carl can make this arm board to fit any requirements. Just get in touch with Carl if you need a special arm board for your plinth.
Tonearm adjusted
Raised arm board flushed to the plinth so VTA and arm position was optimised. Great sound indeed 🙂

4-65a SE Amp: nearly finished
Main amp is finished. Still 3 power supplies to be built out of 7. Madness. Weights a ton! Wife was close to heart attack when I brought the amp down to the sitting room… 🙂
