  1. I don’t recall reading about the cap mx, maybe I missed it somewhere. Excited to hear your thoughts after testing them out.

    1. Have several prototype PCBs which I’ve been playing around for some time. Never had the time to finalise the testing and refining them.

The cap multiplier is quite flexible. It has a simple reference voltage or a more stable CCS based one. It fits WIMA MKP film caps of various sizes for input and output and cap multiplier. The pass MOSFET has current protection at the output. Quite handy.

I have also a some other ones like an e-Choke (gyrator) for power supplies and the SLCF circuit I published years ago. The latter is quite attractive to use as a cathode follower output in a DAC

Attached are a couple of SiC boards populated.

I will test them on my 01a preamp shortly. I need to get the system ready for ETF. I’ve signed up to the DHT shootout, wish me luck 🙂

Also need to stop working on these experiments for a while and focus on preparing the lecture for ETF. I will be presenting on DHT preamps and with such limited time better to use it wisely.

Will let you know when boards are ready. I have a small batch and I will be sell them all to recover the development cost of them.
